Marcus William Giles (born May 18, 1978 in San Diego, California) is a former Major League Baseball player. Giles was selected by the Atlanta Braves in the 53rd round of the 1996 Major League Baseball Draft and made his major league debut in 2001. In 2003, he became Atlanta's everyday third-baseman. In a cost-cutting measure, and due to a decline of production, the Braves non-tendered Giles on in 2006, making him a free agent. Giles played his last season with the San Diego Padres in 2007.
